Eleventh-Hour Miracles

The Eleventh-Hour Miracles

“The Eleventh-Hour Miracles” of the Year.  Get connected!  “The Eleventh-Hour Miracle” is a miracle God performs to rescue/save His people at the last minutes before the enemy strikes. The Miracle that saves from tragedy, calamity, death and eternal destruction.

The Israelites were rescued at the Red Sea (salvation of Israelites and destruction of Egyptians).  “And Moses said … The Lord shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace .. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the Lord … made the sea dry land and the waters were divided  … And the children of Israel went … upon the dry ground … And  the Egyptians pursued … them to the midst of the sea … his chariots and his horsemen … And the Lord troubled the host of the Egyptians … And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea and the sea returned to its strength … and the Lord overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea … And the waters … covered the chariots … the horsemen and all the host of Pharaoh; there remained not so much as one of them.”

Jehoshaphat was rescued by miracle from being lynched-up by enemy’s armies when he went with Ahab to battle.  “… when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat … they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the Lord helped him; and … moved them (the enemy army) to depart from him.” 2Chro 18:31.

The Widow of Zarephath received miracle of provision (from famine that lasted about three years and claimed many lives) after her last meal with Elijah. “… I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it and die, … And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord …” I Kgs 17:12, 16.

For the wisdom and the sovereignty of God, Jesus (as a baby) was rescued from the killer (Herod, the king) when he slaughtered all the babies in his jurisdiction (where Jesus was born) in order to perpetuate himself as king.  “… Arise and take the young child and his mother and flee into Egypt and be thou there until … for Herod will seek the young child to destroy Him … Herod … sent … and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem and in all the coasts … from two years old and under…”

The thief on the Cross was rescued from fire of Hell when he was about to close his eyes in death.  “ … He said unto Jesus, Lord remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom … Jesus said unto him … To day shall thou be with me in paradise.”

The Philippian Jailor was rescued from death and hell by the patience of Paul and Silas during the miraculous jail-break.  The Jailor, “… seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword and would have killed himself … Paul cried with a loud voice saying, Do thyself no harm for we are all here.” Acts 16:27, 28

Peter was rescued from sudden and untimely death in the hand of Herod, the king, when he would have been brought out after Easter to be killed. “ … When Herod would have brought him forth, the same night … the angels of the Lord came upon him … in the prison … and his chains fell off from his hands … And the angels said unto him … follow me … the iron gate … opened to them of its own accord and they went out …” Acts 12.

The woman would have been carried away by the flood which the dragon cast forth out of its mouth, but the earth helped her and swallowed the flood. “ … the serpent cast out of its mouth water as a flood after the woman … to be carried away of the flood … the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood ….” Rev 12:15,16.

Again, the Israelite Race would have been wiped out by wicked Haman if not for the Eleventh-Hour Miracle.  God reversed the plots against His people as He caused the king to open the Book of Remembrance.  The one supposed to be hung was elevated while the one thought to be honoured was hung; the one supposed to be slaughtered was saved alive, while the one thought to be saved alive was slaughtered. “On that night could not the king sleep … and the book of records … were read before the king … Then took Haman the apparel … and arrayed Mordecai … So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai … Thus the Jews smote all their enemies with the stroke of the sword and slaughter and destruction … The ten sons of Haman … they slew.” Esther 6-9.

Eleventh-Hour Miracle! Eleventh-Hour Miracle!! Eleventh-Hour Miracle!!!  Why won’t you get connected by faith to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through the Cross.  Get ready and be expectant.
